Our mission was to take a smalll enclosed bathroom, open it up and create a unique and beautiful space for showering and relaxing.  We were met with several challenges including what to do with a 40 gallon hot water heater, how do you move a drain in a condominium, and locating a hot air pump within 6 feet of the bathtub.

Our fixtures came from all over the country and world.  The hot air bathtub is as much a work of art as it is functional.  Once the water is in the bathtub, a pump (located under the shower seat) begins to pipe hot air in through many small air holes throughout the tub.  This not only keeps the water hot but it is also very quiet pumping only air and not water.

The water heater was replaced with another 40 gallon one that was only 30" tall but wider.  It was relocated over the washer/dryer space leaving room for a full size walk-in shower.  The tile is done completely in warm tones and the back wall is bamboo.

Can lighting was added throughout, sconces are placed on either side of the sink, and the onyx was underlit to provide a warm glow creating a restful and relaxing environment.
